Katherine is a speech-language pathologist who loves what she does. Every time she goes to work she gets to do one of her favourite things: support adults and children in reaching their communication goals while solving communication puzzles! She has experience providing speech-language therapy to students in pre-kindergarten through high school, as well as to adults, and enjoys the diversity of challenges and experiences that speech therapy brings. Her favourite “communication puzzles” involve exploring speech, language, and literacy concerns and the interactions between them to develop the best treatment plans for her clients.
Katherine’s therapy approach is holistic and collaborative. She works with her clients to prioritize the goals most important to them. She believes that learning happens best when you are curious, engaged and having fun, and she strives to bring this approach to her sessions. Through a compassionate and calm presence, Katherine invites her clients into a comfortable environment while challenging them to reach their full potential - whether that be in sound production, fluent speech or literacy skills.
When she is not seeing clients, Katherine will likely be found releasing her creativity in the kitchen, pushing past her comfort zone at the climbing gym, or experiencing nature in our stunning Rocky Mountains.
